Here you will find information on my 2011 debut poetry book entitled: Come Into My Place: A Collection of Love Poems as well as my 55-track spoken word album based upon my book (released in 2013) entitled: Come Into My Place: A Collection of Love Poems - The Album. You will also find information on my travels, upcoming projects and events.

Poetry in my first collection of work introduces a love that is sensual, uninhibited and sexy.

The beats of my heart
Are as loud as the African drums that speak when you come around
My mouth becomes moist as I inhale and exhale your sweet scent Imagining how delicious you taste
My palms become sweaty as I imagine you loving me
Slowly touching and teasing me caressing and pleasing me
My knees become weak
As you ask me to be your eternal Nubian queen
To have and to hold till death we part
As I accept my entire body is at freeze
A stand still, my body is frozen
From my hair follicles to my ten toes on my two feet
But it is not cold feet, I say
My body is burning hot
Hot because you got me on fire

Melissa Emily Mitchell was born on August 17, 1983 and raised in New York City. She is a passionate writer who has been writing contemporary poetry since 1997. Her first poems were inspired by her journal entries and random thoughts. Over time, the subject matter of her poetry intensified as her experiences with love and life deepened.

Harmonize My Sex

Your body moves to the tune of my flower lips
Our dance is a combination of sweet jazz mixed with Spanish fly and soulful ballads
We have our moments of hard rock metallic aaaa mmmm more like rock hard fuck up the bedroom, fuck up the walls, fuck up the sheets and anything else in sight
Tonight
Meaty and raw you dissect the innermost parts of me again
You are my thick meat - premium, juicy
I've got to have that which gives me my vitamins
That which keeps her anew, healthy and illuminating
The Aroma of papaya fills the air
And all of a sudden our hunger strikes again
Lost in the moments of heartbeats, chords, and operas that are singing within my mind
In my mind, I prepare for my own opera again as you take me there again in a front row seat where I like to be
I know you like to philander in backseats but that's okay I have you today
Today fill me, philander me like the others, and then fill me like no other, then photo graph my touch, my face, my body, my papaya so you can miss me when you leave
